From MOHAMMED ABDULLAHI, Keffi
A member of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly representing Keffi West Constituency, Alhaji Aliyu Ibrahim Nana, has stated that he has distributed 100 bags of rice, cash and other items to his constituents to enable them to take care of their needs.
Ibrahim made this known while speaking with newsmen during the week in Keffi, Keffi Local Government Area of the state.
He stated that the gesture was part of his efforts to support the people especially his constituents to cushion their economic pangs.
According to him, the gesture would also give his constituents a sense of belonging and improve their welfare.
“I have distributed not less than 100 bags of rice, also I have distributed cows and cash so that my constituents saying that all these gesture were done to improve their standard of living and give them a sense of belonging,” he said.
He then used the opportunity to congratulate them over their peaceful co-existence unity and harmony and urged then to continue with that spirit.
Ibrahim therefore urged the Muslim faithful and other Nigerians to pray fervently for peace, unity, progress and development of the country stressing that since peace is the necessary requirement for the development of any society, hence the need for Nigerians to embrace it.
Ibrahim also assured his constituents of quality and effective legislation in order to attract more development to the constituency.
He called on his constituents and the people of the state to pray and support President Muhammadu Buhari and Gov. Abdullahi Sule’s administration to enable them succeed.
The legislator further called on Nigerians to be law abiding and respect constituted authorities in the interest of peace and development.
