The Minster of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Dr. Ramatu Tijani has described the victory of Gov. Yahaya Bello at the just concluded APC primary election in Kogi State as well deserved.
While congratulating Gov. Bello, Dr. Tijani urged other aspirants to see themselves as critical stakeholders towards ensuring the party’s victory come November 16 gubernatorial election.
Our Correspondent reports that Gov.Yahaya Bello was declared winner having polled the highest vote cast at the APC primary election on Thursday.
Dr. Tijani while eulogising President Muhammadu Buhari for ensuring that the party remained the strongest in the country, through his exemplary leadership and his dogged fight against corruption, equally commended the party leadership for ensuring a level play ground for all the aspirants, which she added has produced the most transparent and credible primary election ever in Kogi State.
She however, advised the governor to see his victory as ‘No Victor, No Vanquish’ affair by continuously carrying along other aspirants and party members in his new generational government.
On the forthcoming gubernatorial election, the Minister stressed that “Kogi is APC State and will remain so even beyond 2032”.
According to her, the ruling party, both in the state and federal levels has given the people the reason why it should continue in governance.
“Kogi State under the APC led administration, has delivered projects that has direct bearing on the people. Is it agricultural revolution, is it rural road projects that are ongoing, name them,” she added.
Dr. Tijani therefore, urged the people of the state to continue to have faith in the APC led administration as the next four years of Gov. Yahaya Bello would “throw every doubting Thomas into finger biting disposition”.
