GOVERNOR Simon Lalong of Plateau State has condoled the National Chairman Jama’atul Izalatil Bidiah Wa-Igamatu Sunnah and Council of Ulamma, Sheikh Sani Yahaya Jingre on the death of his son, Sharhabil Yahaya Jingre who passed on last Friday.
Lalong who led a government delegation to commiserate with the family at Sarkin Mangu Street, Jos noted that as mortal, death was the necessary end adding that it was not a respecter of age.
The governor while conveying condoles on behalf of government and people of the state, said the death was not only a loss to the family alone but the state as a whole.
He encouraged them to accept the unfortunate incident as the will of God noting that everyone has his or her appointed time and prayed God to grant them the heart to bear the loss.
Responding, father of the deceased, and National Chairman, Jama’atul Izalatil Bidiah Wa-Igamatu Sunnah and Council of Ulamma Sheikh Sani Yahaya Jingre appreciated the government for the show of love and concern for the family.
He said they were encouraged by the visit and pointed out that it would further cement the existing relationship.
Sheikh Jingre however used the occasion to appreciate governor Lalong for his all inclusive government and developmental strides especially in education, economic empowerment and his efforts in the restoration of peace in the state.
The late Sharhabil who died at the age of 3, following a brief illness was the 41st child of the National Chairman of JIBWIS.
