As Nigeria marks it’s 59th independence day, front-line politician, philanthropist and administrator, Umar Nasko has called on youth across the country to summon courage and join the political activities of the nation, but should also remember to be patriotic.
Nasko who made this known in a message from his media officer, Usman Baba Yahaya in Minna, Niger State said, we have dreams and only our jumping into the arena can bring those dreams to fruition.
According to him “we, as citizens have dreams and aspirations, we also wish for a beautiful and egalitarian society, these dreams can only come to fruition if we jump into the arena and get ourselves involved and dirty”
Nasko added that no nation was built without sweat and sacrifice. We must sacrifice our comfort and be patriotic, as only then can our society be good”.
Nasko then salute the courage of Nigeria’s fallen heroes who worked hard and fought for independence.
“I salute the courage of men and women who sacrificed so much for our dear nation to be free”.
