THE Plateau State House of Assembly has condemned in totality the recent killings of innocent lives in Barkin Ladi while farming.
This came as a motion on adjournment presented by the member representing Barkin Ladi constituency in the state assembly, Hon. Peter Gyenden.
The House has appealed to the general public to report those that were involved in criminal activities that are within their domain to security operative and assured that the identity will be conceal.
While narrating the incident, Hon. Gyendeng said it slated again to a month ago when two people were killed on the farm and yesterday Monday another set of people were killed and also as was speaking received a message about the killing of another set of people.”
According to him, :despite effort by the state government and security operatives in the state some people still don’t want peace.”
Contributing the Majority Leader of the House, Hon. Naanlong Daniel condemned those who he described as enemies of the state that do not want it to progress.
Also commenting the member representing Riyom constituency, Hon. Timothy Dantong decried the way cases of criminal in the state are handled as in most cases they are conducted despite committing crime.
