A member of the Nasarawa State’s House of Assembly representing Uke/Karshi constituency Hon. Mohammed Bello Isa has stated that he has identified most of the developmental challenges facing the people of his constituency and is working towards addressing them.
Speaking with newsmen during a ceremony in Keffi during weekend, Hon. Bello stated that the major developmental challenges were to do with absence of basic social amenities like water, healthcare services, electricity as well as other infrastructure like rural road network, School buildings, farm inputs as well as the need to support them economically.
He stated that so far he has analyze the challenges and is working towards presenting them to the state government to form part of the state’s budget as well as selecting those that he would be able to provide interventions through his constituency projects and programme.
Bello who assured his determinations to continues to provide a good and responsible representation to his constituents in the state’s law making body, stated that he would always work with them to get their feedback or responses on how best to cater for their welfare.
On the issue of security challenges, the Lawmakers expressed his satisfaction with the current security situation in his constituency and pledged to continue work hands in hand with all the relevant stakeholders to ensure that the lives and properties of the people were adequately safeguarded.
Commenting about the relationship between the state’s legislature and the state’s Governor Engineer Abdullahi Sule, the lawmakers described it as cordial and heartwarming, stressing that the Governor form his antecedent’s he has clearly shown that he is a real partners in progress that has the passion for the development of the state to next level.
While congratulating the Governor for his recent electoral victory at the tribunal, he assured him of his and that of his people’s support to enable him succeed in that task of taking the state to an enviable height.
Meanwhile, Hon. Bello has also congratulated the Minister of state for Science and Technology Barrister Mohammed Abdullahi Hassan for what he described as a well-deserved appointment by President Muhammadu Buhari and prayed for his success in the discharge of his duties to the country.
