From JIDAUNA YANUNG, Abuja

THE Rotary Club of Apo in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) District 9125, has distributed anti malaria drugs, mosquito nets, sanitary pards, multi-vitaminns, condoms and mama kits to residents of Dutse
Garki community in Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMNC).

The event was part of activities slated to mark the 3rd Rotary family health and AIDS prevention day.

Speaking at the event, President of the club, Engr. Omobola Odusoga stressed that the club is determined to help the less privileged.

According to the President, Rotarians have passion for heliping the less privileged, adding that the club had adopted the Dutse-Garki Community where they built a primary Health Centre (PHC) for over 15 years.

The club has also raised $626 to support the eradication of polio in the country.

During the event also, the club also distributed birth kits and mosquito nets to pregnant women as well as offering random hepatitis, HIV and malaria testing for all residents.
