The Management and staff of the Plateau State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board and prospective intending pilgrims for 2020 Hajji have congratulated Governor Simon Bako Lalong of Plateau State over his victory at the Appeal Court judgment in Jos, recently.
This was contained in a press statement signed by the Executive Secretary of the Board, Barrister Auwal Abdullahi and made available to SUNDAY STANDARD in Jos.
Barrister Abdullahi described the victory of Gov. Lalong at the Appeal Court as another collective victory for the entire Plateau State and also a validation of the will of the Plateau people in the 2019 governorship election.
He said that the Board was not surprised by the verdict as the victory was for the Plateau people who have demonstrated faith in the “Rescue Mission” in the state.
He added that the victory of the Governor at the Appeal Court reflects the faith of the good people of the state in their ability to continue the people oriented and developmental projects, stressing that the Board was optimistic that the Governor would continue to lead the state in the right path, in order to enjoy the dividends of democracy.
“Your resounding victory has further demonstrated the Plateau State people desire to ensure the continuity of your administration, which is taking them to the next level in the state”, the Executive Secretary added.
Barrister Abdullahi maintained that they have no doubt that the governor would further improve, especially on the works which he has started in the state since his administration came on board in 2015.
