As the year comes to an end, Plateau people resident in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have been urged to live in peace with one another and be their brother’s keeper in order to move the state forward.
Chairman of New Karu branch of the Mwaghavul Development Association (MDA), Mr. Abel Lukas Ibrahim made the call recently at the end of year party of the association in Abuja.
According to him Plateau people are known for peace and no meaningful developmental can take place where there is no peace.
According to him, “this end of year party is very important to us because it brings us together, unite us with our brothers and sisters, as well as our friends and well wishers. The coming together help us here to appreciate God for what he has done for us from January to December”.
Mr. Lukas said, “it is with great joy that I welcome you all to this lone awaited event. I urge you are witnessing and I also pray what the Lord will grant all of you safety as you go back to your various destinations”.
I also want to urge the people of Plateau State resident in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to be contended with what they have achieved since January to December. “As this is the period which many things happened”.
