President of Tabar Tour Galilee in Israel, Sir Joseph Tabar, has commended Governor Simon Bako Lalong for sponsoring the largest Christian pilgrims to the Holy Land.

Sir Tabar gave the commendation recently at the Ramada Hotel in Jerusalem at the just concluded 2019 Christian Pilgrimage to Israel.

“I want to really thank Governor Lalong for sponsoring large number of pilgrims to the holy Land. We are also grateful as he chooses our company Tabar Tour to work with”.

“When we see Christian  in large number  coming for pilgrimage in Holy Land  like this  it  gives  us more hope and courage in the faith especially the  believe in Christ Jesus in Israel.

“We really appreciate the Nigeria Government for their love and passion in promoting the spiritual life of those who believe in Christ Jesus in Nigeria”, he said.

In his remark,  the Executive Secretary of the Plateau State  Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board, Rev Fr George Gorap, called on those performed the pilgrimage  to be  change agent  when  they return back home  and  shine  the light of Christ in their communities, places of work, homes , Churches and places of worship.

He thanked Governor Simon Bako Lalong for his kind gesture towards up lifting the spiritual life of the Christians faithful in the state and charged all the JPs to support the Governor and pray for guidance and wisdom upon him.

Gorap appreciated Tabar Tour Company for the good partnership during the pilgrimage exercise in the Holy Land and assured them of the Board’s readiness to always partner with the company. The Executive Secretary also commended the efforts of the delegation of the NCPC towards ensuring that the exercise was successful, adding that all their efforts will not be in vein.

In their separate response, Rev. Philip Dombong of COCIN LCC Sabon Gida in Langtang South and Mrs. Rahila Abdullahi, both thanked the Plateau State Government for giving them the opportunity among many to visit the Holy Land and prayed for a successful tenure for them.

Our Correspondent reports that special prayers were also offered for Nigeria, especially Plateau State on peace, development, economy and security.
