The Mwaghavul Development Association has described the late Senator Ignatius Longjan as a complete gentleman  and detribalized leader whose contribution and wealth of experience in the development of the state will be greatly missed.

The group stated this while on a condolence visit to the family residence of the deceased at Utonko road, Jos, Monday.

The delegation led by the National President Mwaghavul Development Association Mr. Joseph Gwankat, the Kapuk Advisory Council, political appointees as well as title holders, were at the residence of the late Senator Ignatius Longjan to commiserate with his family over his demise.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Plateau State Deputy Governor, Prof. Sonni Tyoden who holds the title of Kohorang Mwaghavul, who represented the Mishkaham Mwaghavul Da Nelson Bakfur said the death of Senator Longjan was a loss not only to his family but the state and country at large.

He said the late Senator Longjan who was his predecessor has contributed a lot on how to address some challenges of the state and assured that he will be remembered for his belief in the progress of the state.

Responding on behalf of the family, Oliver Longkwang appreciated the delegation for their concern and noted that the visit has further comforted the family.

The late Senator Ignatius Longjan who passed on recently was until his death the Senator Representing Plateau South Senatorial District in the National Assembly.
